Another entry from the Latte Art Requests page. Although this may look a little like Pac Man, it is in fact one of the old-school Atlanta Hawks logos. I think I like it better than the current one.

Pikachu
This latte art design comes from the Latte Art Requests page. What in the world is Pikachu? Uh... I had to consult the Wikipedia entry to find out myself.

Triple Rosettas
Keelan suggested triple rosettas for the first entry on the requests page, so I tried it out today. This was in a 10-ounce latte mug:

For both of them, the third rosetta I poured (on the left) looks more like a weed than a leaf. I need a lot more practice doing multiple rosettas.

Sponge Bob Square Pants
Requested by David, a morning breakfast regular at ESS. Definitely not the prettiest looking texture in the drink though. And he's missing hands and feet.

Holy Latte Art
Back in the fall, Besha Rodell of Creative Loafing wrote a blog about a cortado I made her at Empire State South. At the time, she asked me to put Jesus in a latte, but I choked. I decided that today was the day to finally fulfill her wish:
To accomplish the brown-on-white etching, I whited out the top of the latte and used the crema from a shot glass to draw with.
